One recent Friday after our Family Meal Program, some teammates brought out a birthday cake and presents to celebrate Sara's* third birthday. Sara* has been attending the centre twice a week for several months with her mother and grandmother. Her mother had previously asked staff to pray for her, as Sara* was still mute at almost three years old. A few weeks later, Sara* started not only talking but singing with one of our interns and has spoken on several occasions since.
